Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 was a truly special one for the children in the care of Jo’burg Child Welfare. Numerous clubs, churches, individuals and organisations opened their hearts and wallets having purchased Christmas gifts that were so lovingly wrapped for our children.

Our special thanks to the team from Carte Blanche Making A Difference Campaign that joined forces with Brown Jewellers and hosted a Christmas Party for the 90 children resident at Othandweni Family Care Centre in Soweto.

We would also like to extend sincere thanks to Randpark Golf Club, the Grade 2s at Curro Aurora Private School, the team of Canadian supporters led by Danielle Buckland, Santa’s Shoebox, The Colony Shopping Centre, Protech Khutele, Nu Metro, Little Cooks Club, Fairways Primary and Johannesburg Garden Club for going the extra mile to make our children feel loved and cared for.
